This policy covers the Breakpoint Studio extension for Google Chrome and other Chromium browsers. Breakpoint Studio is published by CenoDigital (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka. The privacy policy for the cenodigital.com website is on our legal page.
What the extension does not do
- No analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no accounts.
- No servers of our own. Nothing you do in the extension is sent to CenoDigital or anyone else.
- It does not sell, share or transfer data, because it does not collect any.
The only network requests it makes
Breakpoint Studio makes no network requests of its own, with two exceptions that only happen when you ask for them:
- When you click Scan page CSS in the breakpoint detector, it downloads the stylesheets of the page you are previewing, without cookies, to read their media queries.
- If you type something into the studio's address bar that is not a web address, it opens a Google search for that text, the same as typing it into Chrome's own address bar.
Websites you preview load directly from their own servers into your browser, exactly as they would in a normal tab. Those websites' own privacy policies apply to them.
What is stored, and where
- Settings, custom devices, device sets and recent addresses are stored locally in your browser (
chrome.storage.local) and never leave your device. - Screenshots are kept temporarily in your browser's local database (IndexedDB) so the capture editor can show them. They are deleted automatically after 3 days, and are only saved to disk when you click a download or save button.
- You can delete everything at any time with Reset everything in the extension's settings, or by removing the extension.
